Trust the Process. A Note to Myself and to You if You Need it.

“Your job is to have unshakable faith that the universe is bringing it to you.” Jen Sincere

Trust the process.

I know it is hard. I know that the start of the year can be tough.

Winter is always tough. You know that. Take care of yourself.

The most important thing in your life right now is looking after yourself.

You are no good to anyone when you are burnt out or hiding under your duvet because you have spent weeks ignoring your need to take care of yourself.

It is not selfish to take time to meditate, to do yoga, to stay in rather than go out and spend money on smoothies and coffee. It is what you need.

Don’t waste your time worrying about what people think or listening to what they say.

Trust the process. Trust your intuition. Trust that things will work out the way that they are meant to.

I know that this is all new to you. Letting go of your need to control everything and manage every aspect of your life but why not just try it?

Calm the puppy inside you and stop pulling on the lead.

You are excited to get there, but there is no need to force your way to an unknown destination.

Let go of the outcome and allow yourself to be supported by the work you have already done and the people around you.

Try it. Life might surprise you.

Three books that helped me, and might to inspire you, to trust the process:

(in order of woo woo)

  1. You Are A Badass, by Jen Sincero
  2. Light is the New Black, by Rebecca Campbell
  3. A Return to Love: Reflections on the Principles of a “Course in Miracles”, by Marianne Williamson
